mounting mics to shure a27m or akg km 235
« on: August 06, 2003, 05:01:21 PM »
I'm running adk a51-tl>mini-me>c1-mv picturebook.  Looking for power to run the mini-me and my mics also wondering what software people are using.  right now i have soundforge 6, running on xp home.  I have heard that xp home is not the way to go.

Lots of help needed and greatly appreciated

Best bet for powering your MMe is an SLA battery.  It's awfully easy to make one yourself - search the archives to find out how.  FYI, your MMe will power the mics.

the shure a27m uses a 5/8 inch thread, you might need an adaptor depending if you shockmounts use a 3/8 or 1/4 inch threads, ive had these problems wiith the sabras and the bogen t-bars, micsupply has any adaptor you could need for mounting shockmounts to t-bars, t-bars to stands, etc., hope this helps
