Remove the 9 V battery when not using?
« on: December 17, 2005, 01:11:56 AM »
So I got my first battery box today  :D (for my new AT943 which I also got today too!)

It's from SP with roll off bass feature.

When I'm not using it, do I remove the battery from the unit to conserve energy or does it shut off by itself when I unplug from the jack?

Unplug is fine.  The mics complete the circuit when plugged in, break circuit when unplugged.

I would only remove the battery if you plan to leave it for months on end.  Then (check) and put in a new battery.
