Samsung or W.D. Hard drive
« on: February 10, 2006, 04:49:22 PM »
Newegg has a 250GB samsung for $100 shipped, and a W.D. 320GB for around $120 shipped. I really need a new drive. Opinions on which would be better?

Thanks

All other things being equal, that's $0.40 per GB vs. $0.375 per GB.

I'd take the WD over Samsung personally even if they were the same capacity, speed, cache and price.
