dvd studio pro question - overlays/buttons
« on: November 06, 2009, 08:21:36 PM »
I've got a dvd due in about 1.5 days.  I've actually done countless of dvd menus before, but the recently I've come across a problem where the buttons (done in the overlay - photoshop) aren't always visible when I simulate the disc.  They show up when I click on the button.  Any ideas?

i have not done overlays in a while but i know they had to be in greyscale from photoshop
then you have to make sure the button is over the greyscale photoshop image

hard to explain :/
but if you have done them before you prob know what i mean and prob are doing that

on a somewhat related note - i stopped doing overlays because i had a hard time of the entire overlay highlighting - the edges always seemed to stay "normal"

hmm
well i fixed it. still not sure what keeps going wrong, but ended up just redoing the menus and seems to work this time.   i've actually been doing overlays in colour for sometime.  one of these days i'll figure out how to do motion menus....
