Fostex CR 500 prof. CD recorder
« on: December 25, 2006, 12:07:28 PM »
???I ´ve recently bought Fostex´CR 500. Problems occur when trying to make digital recordings. From my Edirol R09 ( which is connected to CR 500 by help of M-Audio´s C03 device) there is no problem but that one that the menu screen flickers "non legal" recording though R09 made microphone recordings of my son speaking is hardly unlegal! But the signal comes thru.
But: when trying to record from my digital tuner and also the same optical cable into C03 and XLR cable out C03 and in-Fostex CR 500 there is NO SIGNAL and CR 500 screen information "digital" flickers. Following the manual that means "no correct digital signal". However the same procedure with my SONY CDR W 33 works without any problem! Nobody knows why. Can someone expert give me information what I have to do in order to get the tuner´s signal thru? Thanks for fast answer.
