Topic: Anyone know where to get mini xlr chassis mounts?

However the only stores which have them are in the UK from what i can see.  Is there another name they go by here? 

I tried finding them on markertek's site but have had no luck, seems they only have standard xlr size.

If Mouser doesn't have them, try MRO Electronic Supply Ltd., several locations in Canada. They were the only company this side of the Atlantic that I could find listing them. Don't know what brand they stock but with the toll free numbers listed on the "contact us" page it shouldn't be difficult finding out.

I think you want:
  TB3M, male socket to mate with female mic calbes (eg.,, lav. mics, AT853 mini connector, etc)

There are also female chasis mounts, but I don't think mics usually have a male connector.

These are available at Newark.com.  Approx $5 apiece.  Just type "TB3M" in their search engine.
Pick up some battery holders while you're at it (see my other thread).

Disclaimer: I've never bought these connectors from Newark.

I think you could buy from Swedish site www.elfa.se and have them ship to UK.
They have those in stock anyway.

give http://www.audiogear.com a ring, they dropship from New Yourk for all their mini xlr parts.  The girl on the phone (amanda?) will have to call to check availability but they have the best stock/proces i could find.  Not much luck ordering online b/c thier web site is kinda confusing.  1-800-959-4252

But if your in europe you would want european sites to avoid customs and tax issues so check out the www.elfa.se, they have the webshop in english as well as the almost totally uncomprehendable swedish version...
