Brandon - it's been some time but I noticed Canada mentioned.  Let me know if you're in Toronto and I can guide you to parts.  Return that Radio Shack crap!  You can do this for under $50.

FWIW, Jordan Shapiro's UA-5 battery site has been uploaded to the server & is accessible thru the manuals board.
