9volt NIMH rechargable recommendation
« on: October 31, 2003, 11:55:39 AM »
accidently fried two of my Energizers last night @ Denson in my pocket(contacts must have touched?) so I got to buy some new ones

I was thinking of going through one of the sites listed in the archives.  The problem is this: I have had experience with some 9V's being too wide to fit in the PS-2 and AD-20 for whatever reason--probably just generic

anyways if someone could point me in the direction of some 9V rechargables that are guaranteed to fit in this combo that would be super

thanks,
matt

Just out of interest, what voltage/capacity were the 9v you were using (Energizers?) and what like of life did you get out of them in the PS-2 and AD-20?

the energizers i had were 7.2 volts/150mAh

from the tests i did i was getting about 3 hours on the AD20, and about 5 hours on the PS-2

i ended up just buying the top 2 brands on thomasdistributing.com that were 9.6v...hopefully they fit; if not someone will be getting hooked up for free most likely
