now this is only 16/48, but for $39 (+ $30 for parts from digikey), how can you complain..? great way to get the laptop to output to the home hi-fi; the monarchy box has a optical in which is connected to my sacd player (to use as a transport), and the coaxial comes from the hag usb, or from the hi-fi pc, which has an ap2496, so i get true 24/96 that way. i have written the designer about the possibility of a unit being able to do 24/96. i will let you know what i hear back...
