Oade 2009MOD m248
« on: March 23, 2009, 09:12:07 PM »
Recently picked up some MK 4's and CMC-6 bodies and discussing with Focker, he mentioned that the M248 is the best pre-amp when it comes to running Schoeps.

Thanks to Nick, an Oade 2009MOD m248 ended up in my hands and was able to run it for the first time last Friday night.

I ran the night with the volume setting somewhat low but still managed a clean and full body sounding recording.

I add 10db amplification to the 16/44.1 recording which I upped to Archives and very, very pleased with the results.

I have yet to track out the 24/48 recording.

The setting was a loft in downtown Brooklyn - and this IMO my best recording to date!

The V3 will be hitting the Yard once this recession is over!

Is HF+ the top button and LF the middle button for the 2009 model?

i believe so.  nick said that all that really changed was different op-amps within the box, the switches still are assigned the same.
