Making Power Pack for AD-20
« on: April 09, 2007, 12:43:07 PM »
I'm going to make a power pack using 1.2V,  2400mAh, NiMH batteries.  Now to get close to 9v , I would use 8 batteries, which would be 9.6 v.  Would this damage the AD-20 since it is 9v input.  Is the AD-20 forgiving of a slightly higher voltage.

Thanks

Yes, the AD-20 can take a higher voltage. Like the PS-2 will take an external 7-24 volt supply, my Zefiro Inbox (same as an AD-20) label says it will take 6-24 volts from an external power source.
