and how did you plan on connecting it? I'm having trouble envisioning the RC connection unless you use the external jack (which needs at least 12v, and is best fed with as much as possible as it affects the headroom of the amp).

Oh, I was under the impression that the sax (lemo and regular) could run off 9.6v RC battery packs. So I guess I should be asking, how is every one here powering their sonosax?

I've been using a Tekeon to power my Sax for the last year or so and it seems to work great. It'll run forever off a charge.

I've been using a tekkeon 3450 for the last year and a half. Best battery option for sax imo. Just remember to run the battery at 19 volt and not anything below that.

I ran a 3450i with mine, but anything that will put out a large voltage should work. It barely requires any current so you don't need a jumbo battery, just voltage. The reason is more volts you feed it, the better the headroom is (which is sort of messed up from a technical spec end).
