Newbie interested in buying a cable from darktrain

Hi folks,
I'm fairly new here (and to taping, started both in summer/fall 2013) so apologies for my ignorance. I'm trying to buy a cable from darktrain and I got a "you are not allowed to send personal messages" notification when I tried to message him. Any ideas why? Or other ideas on how I can contact him directly? Thanks!
