A totally unrelated topic, but Yelp! has got to be the worst website of all time. Maybe after boo.com.
But again, sorry, you have an error in logic. This is not an opinion, it is demonstrable:
If something goes bad, he will fix it. I don't know whether or not you would get the same with a Tinybox
That's an argument from ignorance (a formal title of a fallacy); a weak attempt to argue that one wouldn't get the same service from me.
but if you read threads on here you will not find any examples of Nick not responding to issues.
That is both a fallacy and also false--read the Nbox thread on the retail forum, plenty of people ask questions and get told to ask Nick via PM. The public reader has no idea whether the questions are addressed. Whereas I don't even use PMs, and publicly respond to all questions publicly asked (saves time as I don't have to repeat myself).
He is a taper, one of us.
Another fallacy, basically an ad hominem, and also a non sequitor. I have two concerts this weekend that I am assisting with production (not sound production though). If I record both of those, will that make my products better? Of course not, so why posit the argument? Because you are weakly attempting to attack my character based on a pseudo-tribalist motive. I successfully showed the absurdity of that argument by comparison with Vollmer. Conclusion: whether or not an audio manufacturer has employees who enjoy hobby concert taper has no bearing on the quality of their products.
So if you don't want me pointing out your weak and fallacious arguments, don't post them.
