Can i get some help with a 7-PIN

My 7-pin quit on me....i took the back cover off and the only wire attached was the black(ground) how do i get the metal cover off so i can fix the rest of the wires?

is this possible?

you have to desolder the metal cover to remove it in order for you to gain access to the pins.
