Title: "Wall Mart" 9v Li-ion & Mini-Me's
Post by: Big Muff on August 23, 2006, 09:23:31 PM
Ok, Just picked up a Minime   ;D
Have been running a UA5 for a couple years now on a 9v li-ion, and would like to know if the mini can go on the same juice.

So I've heard of it being done..
is it truly safe to run the 9v directly into the minime, or would a 6v regulator be necessary?

if all is well with strait 9v then great!
any knowledge of run times on one of these?

ok,
one more question..
I have a fostex COP-1 (coax/opti converter) that's also 9v.
I'm thinking of splicing a cable to run the converter and mini on the same batt.
any issues I should be aware of when running these both together off the same juice?
thanks again for all the help TS!

Cheers!
-Mike

I ran a Mini-Me with a 9v Walmart LiIon battery. No worries doing that.
