Compatibility

The Mobile Power Pack contains a USB charging port that is designed to accept the readily available USB charging cables on the market. Due to unique electrical requirements and the wide variability of the physical connectors on some electronic devices such as palmOne devices and Sony Ericsson mobile phones, the user will need an adapter that converts their unique connector to USB.

Mobile Power Pack with Sony PSPDevices such as the Apple iPod and some Nokia mobile phones require output of 6 volts or 9 volts. These devices will require a 6 or 9 volt booster that converts 5v to 6v or 9v to work with the Mobile Power Pack. The iPod 3G and iPod 4G require a special addapter. The iPod Mini work with the USB cable that come with the Mini. Some of the Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Siemens mobile phones require an adapter to convert it from 5v to 9v or 6v output. Global Source PDA and Zip.Linq sell device boosters for most products.

For devices that do not include a barrel charging jack or a charging USB connector, see compatibility chart and web links to purchase adapters and cables.
