video embedding to website
« on: January 31, 2012, 10:21:06 PM »
ooking to embed my video to website, but since i am involved with a video for my company, i cannot use Vimeo.  Too bad it was sooo easy.  However i did quickly test it out and the "old' embed code works. Youtube's "old" embed code doesn't seem to work, but that's fine with me since the quality is much less.

What other options to convert to a web friendly format are recommended?   Flash i assume.
My co worker uses Final Cut Pro on her Mac, but we can't seem to get the output/export/compression to work properly.   Then we need to be able to convert it to flash format, correct?

For viewing on line, Flowplayer seems pretty decent to use as a flash player; it's ok if i have some reduction in quality, but i worry that flowplayer needs a lot of setup which my website may not handle.  For example, it doesn't accept HTML5 codes.

Any suggestions or tutorial links are appreciated....so much crap online these days to wade through.
