Anyone have any turntable/stereo combo recommendations?
« on: October 02, 2013, 07:40:22 PM »
SSIA.  Max I'd be willing to go is around $200.

Good friends just bought a house and am looking for a gift to replace their old crappy turntable.

Ive owned a few duals and with the excption of a cs5000 that I modded they were not up to par. The poineer 512 sounds better and can be had for around 100. A couple of mods and it sounds good.

That AT deck is well regarded except by snobs. Who won't recommend anything that cheap anyway.

I also like the Pioneer PL-7 I have. Fully automatic, sounds good. It's my second deck. Can be had on eBay for around 70
Bucks.
