it will be a bit more bulky than the wire shelves

but to have the front of the mme where i can get to it, and still be securely in the bag, i need something custom

im not sure on the exact dimensions of the mme, but it is deep and not wide, so i have to run it at an angle downward on a shelf, if that makes any sense.

i couldnt find dimensions on apogee's site.....but i feel ya...ill se if i can find them somewhere!!!

and i meant wide/deep/whatever!!!

heres a couple of pics....you could mount the mme in the middle of the shelving, and have cables running belowand NEVER worry about them getting kicked/unplugged, nothing!!!

these are about 15"x 10 1/4"x 1.8"

youd have a nice fit  8)

kind of looks like what i would need, but only one, and then i would need horizontal shelves for everything else. im trying to make the most of the room,a nd those shelves wont do it for me. if i was gonna run it vertical, i would run it in the padded case in the rear :apogee pocket

you could run it in the back pocket of the rakgear deluxe...that is what Jason does..he has his minime in the back pocket run vertical and his full size dat and v2 on the shelves in the rakgear....

i havent really decided yet, i figured i would take the time to build a custom set of shelves from wood, thin but durable and not so heavy wood

then if i dont like it then i will purchase some shelves similar to those

FWIW i have allready been to the closest target store and they didnt have anything like those shelves!

Yup, Jason Barbour...I believe he had the slam, but the deluxe is just a better bag...the internal shelves are supported at all 4 corners, vs. two.  Jason actually has some assembly in the back pocket of the rakgear to allow the minime to stand vertically, cables running back into the main pocket to the full size DAT and V2 sitting on the rakgears shelves...
