Title: Apogee AD1000 Questions

I recently purchased a slightly studio used AD1000. I plan on running:

ADK A-51s LE's > AD1000 > D8

Is anyone running something similar? Where is your sweet spot on the knobs? Are you running it UV16 or just 16 bit? I am interested in how this sounds with various mics. I can trade .shns.

Any help would be great thanks.

Definitely run UV 16... thats the golden spot of the apogee :-)

you'll love that AD-1000! UV16, yes! As far as sweetspot, you may wan tot check the dipswitch settings to make sure you can auctually use the knobs. I am going to start a new thread about ad1000 dipswitch settings!
