Win2K and Emagic Audiowerk2

has anyone used this combo successfully?
it looks like the drivers are installed and device manager shows the card as enabled and ready for action.
when I open CD Wave or Soundforge to select a recording source, the card does not appear in the dropdown list.
any suggestions?
