The Itgoestoeleven bars are killer, but you need to have no clips. I would suggests getting the cards without clips so you can use them with the bar in an open situation. Rely on the omnis for
applications as your head helps produce the stereo image. And if you tape open with the omnis the orientation of the mics is less important to the stereo image, which make mounting them easier. Just use a wood dowel, some have had good luck with "rabbit ear" tv antennas mounted to a stand.

I have had good luck running 4 channels into a DR2d, one set through the 9200, and the other using the plug in power from the recorder. When mixed together the two "flavors" sum to a greater than the parts.
