blocking phanton power
« on: April 22, 2009, 12:30:31 AM »
I know this subject has been talked about in the past but nothing in the last couple of years.  Does anyone know of a cable and/or inline barrel that could block phantom power when connecting to a SBD?  I had a troubled soundman last week when I was getting a patch and I was thinking that there might be something out there that could ease people's minds.  The last thing I want is to blow up a SBD because I turned on the  wrong phantom power on my R4.

Thanks,
Mako

Thanks for the reply.  Now it's off to do a little reading on how to make this little sucker.

Skalinder made a thread dealing with this some time ago.
