Large Crown Royal bags. ;D
Unfortunately I only have a small Crown Royal bag... and most of my recording is done in schools so that's probably out for me!

Or maybe one of these for  >:D cables:

Again, thanks for more great suggestions.  Still haven't bought anything yet, as I've been waffling on getting just a larger bag overall that can also hold all my cables, rather than a small accessory bag for just the cables.  The front runner right now for an accessory bag is the jumper cable bag from eBay I linked back on the first page.

I wish these guys kept their stock current - I've bought from them several times and their bags beat anything out there for rugged quality.  I own the "mid-range bag" as my work briefcase, but the Tac-Pad would be perfect for this use.  The Responder II Pouch would also work but it's a bit pricier.

Small, well built, good shape for rolled cables, not cheap: http://www.nutsacbags.com/product/nutsac-disc-golf-bag/

It's heavy duty, but the snap is a deal breaker for me for what we do.

One option I haven't seen mentioned yet - have one custom made. Find an awning shop (a place that makes those door/window covers for businesses) and ask for a quote. May be way more than you want to spend or they may have a few scraps of canvas laying around they could sew together to your specs and let it go for next to nothing. Only way to find out is to ask.

I use a tether tools bag for my cables, they are available on ebay or Amazon. They are perfect, have a handle to be clipped & a clear window.
Is this what you're talking about?  It looks perfect!

Yep, that's the one. I have two of them, a small one just for my cables & a large one for my cable bag, shock mounts, clamps. They are perfect & worth every penny IMO.

I bought the large one--it's great.  Easily holds a 25' 8-channel snake, insert cables, adapters, and a pair of 15' XLR cables.  Window makes it easy to see what you're carrying.  Light but sturdy.  For all we spend on cables and adapters, there's no point in cheaping out on protecting and carrying them.

This one has a little more room than the three pack. Also a divider inside…

I agree, I have both sizes, they work perfectly depending on what I'm bringing to a show but the large one is a little better at the end of the night when I have to hustle out of the venue. I just put everything in there, clip it to my bag & sort it when I get home.
I know you like, tape for people's approval and stuff, and wave your tapes around like they're your dick...  but even you can't actually think section tapes from philips sound good.

Note, this is neither small nor cheap, but this thread got me looking for a nice bag to carry all my cables and misc. supplies (read: flashlights, notebook, pens, gaffers tape, etc).  I wanted something over-the-shoulder and high-quality.  I ended up purchasing the following.

# Bean's Messenger Bag, Medium
http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/85743?attrValue_0=Black

I wanted to share just in case.  Also, a little off-topic, but I use the following small "gear" bag when running a low-profile rig. ;)

# Flip-Top Lunch Box
