Fostex fr2le....is this the battery I need?

Is this the right connector? If not, info from a user would be greatly appreciated! From what I gather, you can only get 3 hours or so on internal AA?

Thanks!

Yep, that Tamiya plug is the correct one for the FR-2LE.

Just an FYI
I had a 3600 and it ran for over 6 hrs
Do not leave rc batteries plugged in when not in use (even if you think it's dead), they drain down and will not recharge thus killing the battery
Mics - AKG ck61/ck63 (c480b & Naiant actives), SP-BMC-2
XLR Cables - Silver Path w/Darktrain stubbies
Interconnect Cables - Dogstar (XLR), Darktrain (RCA > 1/8) (1/8 > 1/8), and Kind Kables (1/8f > 1/4)
Preamps - Naiant Littlebox & Tinybox
Recorders - PCM-M10 & DR-60D

I sold my FR-2LE, but if I still had it...I'd skip the RC batteries entirely and power with the Naztech.  I did so the last time I ran it and it worked well.

I love my FR2-LE.  I originally used a battery brothers battery for years.  Pricy but worked great until i didn't tape for months and I couldn't revive it.  I purchased the one below and had a custom cable built buy one the local builders here.  $25 for the cable, but works flawlessly. A bit of a pricy power solution but power dependably means a lot.

thanks I'll research both of these.

How does the Naztech connect to Fostex?

The Naztech comes with a DC cable that connects to the FR-2LE via the DC in.  Be sure to have the voltage set on the battery to output 12v.
