which battery box for my mic?
« on: July 17, 2016, 04:31:01 AM »
I am not sure which battery box I need for my mic, I have a MS-TFB-2-11846.

12 volts of bias power http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/SP-SPSB-4

or

9 volts of bias power http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/SP-SPSB-8-MKII

I have a church audio ugly but not sure if that is enough, my recorders I  use are iriver h120 and tascam dr2d. Is 9 volts enough or 12 volts will be required?

THe UGLY you already have will be fine.
AT853's (all caps)/CM-300 Franken Naks (CP-1,2,3)/JBMod Nak 700's (CP-701,702) > Tascam DR-680
Or Sonic Studios DSM-6 > M10
