By the picture on Oade website my mics are on the wrong side of the bar.  Will my setup be fine as is?

It can look like one or the other depending on how the mics are mounted. Mic configurations are based on the angle and spacing of the capsules. My setup for ORTF is basically the opposite of that picture, and the mic bodies do not cross, although I have done that in the past. It takes some trial and error to get what you want. The best way is to make a template with the spacing and angle, and keep rearranging until you get it right. There are premade templates here for most configurations if you search.

As long as the angle and spacing are correct it doesn't matter which side of the bar your mics are on. Crossing mics, as pictured, is not my favorite way to record. I have to remember to swap cables or swap channels when processing.

I have tried mounting mics ORTF both ways with my Shure A27M - in front and behind the stereo bar. The mics obviously don't care. I prefer mounting them behind as it keeps the weight of the mics and bar over the tripod, but it takes more fiddling to get it setup that way. I'm not really a stickler for the exact ORTF specs, I eyeball it about the width of my head and an angle of slightly more than 90 deg and call it good.
