Topic: Latency questions.

Ok, I've been listening to my 1st 2 pulls using the lappy@ 24/48. There are some very minor pops here and there. Perhaps a dozen at most per 2+ hour show. Not super annoying but, naturally, I want a click free recording.

I'm pretty handy w/ a PC and I'm fairly confident the problem lies not with the OS, but with my recording software. I suspect it is a latency issue.

Before I go any further here's my rig: CMC64(1's)>V3> FW 410>Fujitsu Lifebook 2040 (Win 2k SP3)>Wavelab 4.0.

Admittedly I don't know jack about latency settings. I have the latency in the FW410 control panel set at it's highest setting (2048 I think). My question is this. Do I need to futz with the latency settings within Wavelab? I currently have them set to the factory defaults.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
