pro dig 7pin ?

which one is "in" and which is "out" , (I dont have a sony portable _ _ _  to test it
I simply bought it as another patch cable for the bag.  ::) 

One of the wires has some white lettering . I assume thins might be "In"

TIA for any help.

on mine the writing is on the in. that is the one that brings the signal to my deck. don't know if they are all the same, but hope that helps. also when you do test if one dosn't work, try the other.

once you find out which is IN and which is OUT. I recomemd putting a little tab (made of tape) and writing whihc is which on it. I went so far to write with a sharpie which was which on mine. Helps out alot!

Yup, pretty sure the cable with white lettering is the IN cable.
