« on: September 17, 2003, 10:52:00 AM »
Thanks for all of the help so far but another question has come to mine in what DAT is the best to buy. I would like a portable one and I think alot of people talk about Sony ones. Also is there a good place to get a used but good one?? Thanks once again for the help and hopefully soon I can spread the love of music. Thanks tapers!

I just saw a used Casio DA-R100 (same as Denon DTR-80p) go on eBay for $155.00. Since DAT's seem to be a dying technology I wouldn't spent a ton of money to get one. My $.02. Of course YMMV.
Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.
