Is there not a 'cables for dummies' thread?
« on: April 30, 2011, 06:39:54 PM »
Is there not a thread with all the info in one place on what kind of cable and connectors are most common and where to source them?

I'm looking at building some cables, so if there isn't a thread like this and someone could provide a link or give me a crash course in what I need to build the cables I'd appreciate it.

I'm more than capable of using a soldering iron and have any tools I need.

Taperssection.com  |  Technical Help  |  TS Knowledge Base / Archive  |  Cables*  is a good place to start. Not all the info is in one post but the info is there. Since this is in ts's archive note that any posts that mention prices will no longer be valid but brands/part numbers/suppliers should all still be accurate.
