Bad Acoustic Drum sound, plugin fix it? or something else?
« on: October 09, 2009, 05:39:49 PM »
When recording, the Acoustic drum is the only one that I need a feel of power added.  What should I do?  A)  Should I make better use of my plugins?  Which ones? B)  Fix the drum C) Something else....

1. Which drum(s) are the issue?
2. What does it sound like?  How does it sound bad?
3. What do you want it to sound like?
4. What DAW are you working on?
5. What plug ins do you have available?
6. Any chance you can re-track the drums or use Sound Replacer and a sample library?
7. Post an audio sample?

...some more details may be helpful  ;)
