Creating/saving tracks in Audacity 2.1.0
« on: August 31, 2015, 07:04:07 PM »
Simple question, I'm only asking it here because the answer has eluded me for too long.

I have a 16/44.1 wav file. How do I cut tracks and save them using Audacity 2.1.0?

Using OS X 10.7.5

TIA

Click and put your cursor where you want a split - and hit CTRL+B - repeat as necessary.

Then "File>Export Multiple"

It will prompt you for meta data - but you can just leave them blank...or fill them in

(you can export straight to FLAC if needed.)
