Hi-Res to RedBook Documented Workflow
« on: September 18, 2005, 09:49:44 AM »
Does anyone have a "How-To" on the step-by-step to create a set of redbook-compliant files for burning or compressing ?
If there isn't one already, does anyone want to help me write up one for SoundForge, Audition, WaveLab, etc. ?

I have the basic steps, but want to be complete and "error-proof."

Someone asked me about this a few days ago and my explanation got confusing and rambled.
I tried to find a list of steps to give them, but could't find anything.

1) If your high-res material is tracked, rejoin it into one big file.

2) resample, then dither.

3) Track in CDWAV.

easy, huh?   :)
