I had changed Receivers and DAC's in my system.  The tapes have changed since.  I change my playback system based on studio discs and this changes the rest.
I was just trying to say that if you prefer the sounds of those speakers the ears would like xx instead of yy. Bright is bright no matter where it comes from as is warm.

     Right now, I am running the MMG 210s with a V3. I have done about 5 shows with it and I like the results so far. I still believe the MME is a better match with the MGs, but the V3 is bullet-proof and idiot-proof! That had a lot to do in my decision. The MME just felt cheap and I have a feeling I could accidentally crush the thin casing like a beer can! I am pretty confident the V3 could withstand being hit by a bus!
     The sound can be a bit fatigueing on solid state equipment, but I listen on my tubes so I am still enjoying it so far. I still would love to have a M148 in the mix for very bright bands/venues. That will come along later!
