It is a 7.2v rechargeable battery intended for remote controlled vehicles (has a Tamiya-style connector to connect to the Fostex battery compartment). You'll also need a charger for the pack.

yeah get a rc battery
I have a radio shack 3300mah and it runs over 6hrs
Just unplug the battery from the unit, rc batteries drain when not turned on and if they drain to far down they will not charge

Thanks for the info on the RC Batt…. I have a local hobby guy who can fix me up….
