does anyone have experience with this?  a friend of mine got this for Christmas as a tool for festival/camping (charging phones).

i was wondering if we could possibly use this to power our rigs as well?

1.)  is it possible to make a USB power cable to power a V3 and a R-44?

2.)  approximately how long could you power a V3 and R-44 using one of these?

if this is doable, i may toss my dvd batts, or relegate them to back up power via a double ended power cable to this.

thoughts?

Looks like a good one tho. I just don't have ANY equipment that powers via a USB port, so its useless to me, but it def looks promising :)

...not sure if you were just asking because you bud got this battery, but if you were looking to buy something for yourself there are a ton of options for powering your V3, R44 for extended run-times.

well, i was asking because i just discovered it because of my buddy.  but right now i'm running dvd batts and they appear to be dying, so i wouldn't mind moving on to something new.  ideas/links?

There are a couple on eBay now that are intresting....this one will drop down to 9v and 12v  -  It concerns me that it is listed as 18000mAh BUT the info states 15000mAh

This one has 8.4v and would power what I need...

I'm guessing one Tekkeon would outlast two of these and might be cheaper if you went that way...if you didn't need to power two things at a time that is...
