Aerco DB-2 manual?
« on: December 30, 2004, 10:26:39 PM »
Anyone have a manual for the Aerco DB-2?  I'd like to get a copy if possible or any info that may be available.

Is it better to run pads on the KM100s and put the Aerco at a higher gain setting or does it not matter?

Really, any help would be appreciated.  I haven't had this thing in the field yet and I'm trying to put together a little stealth set up using it and the D7.

thanks,
michael

I think you mean MP2. Anyway, there is no manual but rather a one page sheet. If you contact Aerco they will fax or e-mail you one.

This is definitely a DB-2.  It's labeled that way on the panel and there is mention of this box in the dat-heads archives.  I think it was the predecessor to the MP2.  The circuit board in mine is labeled 1994.

Do you have a number or contact info for aerco?  The only thing I found was a heating equipment company.

I have an old MP-2 and I do have a manual for it which I can post on a Web site if you'd like.  Great for stealth taping.

Definitely post it.  It should go into the archive forum here too.

BTW Ray, thanks for that contact info.  I'm going to call when I get a chance.

If you post it here, I'll add it to the TS Reference section.  And if it's too large to attach, email it to me instead.
