Stealth recording: where to put mics!

I have quite long hair and was thinking of putting them in there somewhere. I think 'croakies' are too obvious. Has anyone here come up with a genius way of stealthing a mic that they could share?

He looks like a teddy bear as compared to some of the 'roid apes one of our local venues used to hire back in the 90's. They wore security shirts just like his only skin tight and stomped around the club scowling at everyone. All of them were bulked up like Arnie. If anyone just staggered they'd swoop down on them and bully them out the door. They never harassed me personally but I saw them slam several people against the wall then physically drag them out. They were like the Hell's Angels at Altamont only with no tattoos. Fortunately the club owner finally realized they were actually hurting his business.
