I don't know if there the best but they were some of the funnest.

... and just what is the fellow with the camera focusing on, pray tell...? :o

I especially like the way the tapestry forms a kind of halo around the musician's head!
Hey man, that common sense shit won't fly around here, we're from Portland, we're edgy & different or something  ???

I just shot this last week at the moe show in KC.  It's my MBHOs, Kelly's AKGs, nedstruzz Schoeps, and I can't remember the name of the guy who's mics were on the other stand.  Fun show.  I shot this thinking of this thread...

Jake: What's this?
Elwood: What?
Jake: This car. This stupid car. Where's the Cadillac? The Caddy? Where's the Caddy?
Elwood: The what?
Jake: The Cadillac we used to have. The Blues Mobile!
Elwood: I traded it.
Jake: You traded the Blues Mobile for this?
Elwood: No. For a microphone.
Jake: A microphone? Okay I can see that.

A quick low quality photo taken just a few days ago at a 'free in the park' outdoor Los Lobos concert is a scene not viewed before or to happen to such an extent at this venue.

Los Lobos is primarily a really GREAT DANCE BAND. NO problem with people wanting to dance nonstop while this band plays! For some reason, this Roseburg Oregon audience was unusually reluctant to even stand. SO, to get the crowd on their feet and dancing (at end of set 2), Los Lobos band invited audience members to stage-dance with them.

Within moments from when the below photo was shot even more people jumped on stage filling the stage so much the band was blocked from view AND the entire on-the-ground audience was on their feet dancing.  Way to go Los Lobos!
