For SD bi-directionals also consider:

Ambient Emesser ATE208- http://ambient.de/en/product/emesser/
A single diaphragm compact mic intended to be added to your existing Mid mic to form a M/S pair.  Less costly yet in the a similar category to Neumann / Schoeps / Sennheiser at about $800 new.

Naiant X-8S- http://naiant.com/studio-electronics-products/microphones/x-8s-multipattern-condenser-microphone/
Innovative dual diaphragm SD by our fellow TS member Jon Stoppable.  Either switchable omni/card/bidirectional with an impedance balanced output, or bidirectional only with transformer balanced output.  Great for messing around with M/S for just $150 new.

With regard to the C414 and all its many iterations, there was a helpful post on GS a few years back:

http://www.trustmeimascientist.com/2011/09/05/curing-condenser-confusion-an-audio-history-of-the-akg-c-414/

This at least runs through the XLII and XLS.

I have a pair of the B-ULS mics myself and like them quite a bit.
