Would anyone know where I could get a cable for my Schoeps CCM 5s which are shorter than the standard 5m?
Cheers

Anyone competent at soldering can shorten an existing 5-meter K 5 LU cable; there's nothing exotic about the way the XLR plug is wired.
Alternatively, cables of any desired length may be special-ordered from Schoeps.

Thanks for your reply
I'll get on to Schoeps and start saving :-)

I have a custom pair that I believe are made by Robb. They have a binder in the middle that allows me to use it for short runs or the full 5m. They are techflexed and color coded.
His handle here is DarkTrain: http://taperssection.com/index.php?action=profile;u=17532
Edit to add that the binder in the middle of my pair snaps right into my Tinybox. He can probably fix you up with full size XLR, or the connector of your choice.
Good luck.
