Topic: 90m DDS tapes?

I understand I may be one of the last to more or less use DAT technology still. Was hoping if anyone was still sitting on some new DDS tapes? I've been using exclusively Imation 90m DDS tapes and they have been great, had a box of 100 of them but they are now depleted. Interested please email me: gaspcdz@yahoo.com

They come up on ebay all the time for less then $2 a tape and alot of times @ less then $1 a tape.

Yes, I know that eBay is the only place to ascertain DDS tapes these days. Not to sound too silly but the packaging of the last run of tapes are different than 90% of what I see on eBay. With tapes, trying to get the most recent generation of tapes as there are tapes for sale which date back to the mid 1990s.

That said and I ask this because I cannot find information to confirm or deny this - are any DAT or DDS tapes still in production from any company?

These are the last Sony's made - I am pretty sure the only DDS tapes made are DDS4/DDS72


I don't think DDS-1 tapes (60m/90m tapes) have been made for 5-10 years

I actually have a dozen or so wrapped blanks.  Mostly Panasonics.  No use for them these days.
