music fidelity 3.5 integrated amp
« on: February 01, 2006, 01:28:49 PM »
I have gone and listened in house with a dealer on  a pair of BW 700 series  overall a great integrated amp IMO.  Anyone else out there have real world experience with this amp or have better options for the similar budget in mind? roughly $1500

on a side note, those 700s drive me nuts.  the cymbal crashes on them sound so strange.

That may have been what my issue is with the MF  Maybe i should go back and hear this amp on different speakers.  ANyone else weigh in on the amp itself?

if they are a b&w dealer, see if you can listen on the naut 800 series, even the naut bookshelf speakers.  they ahve a little better dynamic range and they sound crystal clear to me- very little addition to the original sound whatsoever.
