Title: Anybody else using Transcend CF cards?
Post by: Kevin Straker on February 13, 2006, 01:39:14 PM
On craig's(cpatch) advice, I ordered a 4gb 120X flash card by Transcend. Anybody else using one of these? I'm going to use it in a 671. Anybody have experience with this or will I be the guinea pig? Craig uses his in a MT and says it works fine. I'll hope for the best.

Just unpacked the 671 and formatted the card. It seems to recognize the whole thing. I'll try a transfer tonight and see how it goes.

Scratch that. Last night I tried to transfer  a dat using the 671. It seemed to record fine, but I could not play the file back or cue/rew. Attempting to playback produced E7, media format is f'ed up message. Works fine with the 64mb card they sent with it. Oh well, back it goes. I'll guess I'll go with the kingston 45X. I'm glad I found this out at home.

Before you send it back, try formatting it with Windows.
