Are you looking for something to use all of the time, or just on occasion?

I rarely need a VPN (mainly if some video isn't available in the US) and I use Tunnel Bear. Works great...and it's free (only 500MB of data though). Obviously 500MB isn't enough for many videos, but I can usually start the video under the VPN, then pause it and turn off the VPN and it lets me watch the rest of the video.

For $60 you get unlimited for the entire year.

I've never used one, but recently have been collecting some info from folks who do.

One friend uses Tunnel Bear but a person I met who travels to China for business says Tunnel Bear won't work there, so he uses Express VPN.

Someone else suggested Tunnel Blick.

Not sure if it's the same thing but TorGuard is pimped by some with affiliate codes. I have no code.

I use Windscribe. The Free version is 10 GB per month.

You can get more free data if people sign up through your link (like the one I posted above.)

Works well with pretty good speeds.
If you have a problem relating to the Live Music Archive (http://www.archive.org/details/etree) please send an e-mail to us admins at LMA(AT)archive(DOT)org or post in the LMA thread here and we'll get on it.

I use NordVPN. You can get a discount if you pay upfront for multi-year, and look for a coupon code. I think mine worked out to around $3-4/mo.

I didn't really shop around. I just read a bunch of reviews for the best one in terms of privacy and speed.

The interface is very slick, and there are thousands of servers across the world. You can hunt around for one that is close to you and has good speeds. It does slow down torrent downloads -- I think Max w/o VPN that I get is around 6 GB/min, and with the VPN, I have only been able to get around 2 GB/min. So the difference translates to a few extra minutes, which is fine for me.

I used Private Internet Access for a while and was pretty satisfied with it: easy to use, good speeds, relatively inexpensive, and a lot of servers throughout the world.

Been a few years since I've used any VPN but I've read good things about Nord and ExpressVPN.

I've used PIA for a couple/few years and have been very happy with it.  I think I pay $39.99 annually and am able to install it on several computers, I think, as well as my phone, though I only use it on two desktops.

I have been using Purevpn from a long time to access different streaming channels from different regions like Canada and Uk Netflix, and its work Great so far no issues and its pricing is also better than other VPNs. You can get its 2-year subscription in just $84.95.
