Title: sE Electronics sE8 matched pair
Post by: refrain on June 26, 2018, 09:26:05 PM
Hello,

Any thoughts or experience with this mic? Thinking about using them outdoors for field recording, nature and very quiet sounds, in ortf configuration...

thanks,
CS

I had some sE mics way back when. I think they were the sE3 model. They were okay for what I paid for them and what I was used to comparing them to - a pair of SP C4s and the like - but certainly nothing special.

While I've never used this model of mic I can't help nut think you wouldn't be getting much more than what you could get out of your Oktavas.

The specs look good but lots of mics look good on paper.
