JAMHUB Tracker MT16
« on: February 05, 2016, 04:00:14 PM »
just arrived.   pretty slick little 16ch recorder.
5v 3800 mAh DC

this sucker will be fun.   16ch breakout cable, or 8 onboard TRS.  It's not much bigger than the M-Audio MT
records to SD or USB 3.0hdd

all of the above.
there is a proprietry jack on it for hooking into other Jamhub gizmos.    but it doesn't care, you can plug it into anything w/a 1/4" out.
in my situation, it will be coming out of mixers in the studio and live.

My intention is to record my next Brewins album w/it.

That looks much more affordable and more convenient than my saffire FireWire PC based interface that was only 8 channels.  I'm glad I sold it and got my $ back.

I have had too many firewire problems (i dont use a mac) in the past to go that route.
it was this, or the new soundcraft 12ch board w/USB3.0 multi-track.  I figured this to be more flexible, and still not have to deal w/a computer
until post.
