Aloha
ok so anyone have any recommendations for gear bag to fit mini-me/mini-mp. none of mine are deep enough.
any suggestions would be great. I will want to use both pre/AD's at same time on occasion.
thanks

Lots of bags will of course allow you to run them on their sides. I use a backpack for my MME, and that seems to be a popular option.

When I had the MiniMe, I used a Lowepro Alpine1 AW. It was just the right size for the MM upright (w/ chopped RA XLRs) and my HD-P2. I believe they don't make this bag anymore but if you can find something similar in size you might be in luck.

I use a sonic-case. it lays sideways and I have access to each end via the side access. no prob.
In fact, I run the MME and a DR680, plus mics, cables, batteries..etc all in the little sonic-case
-
i used to use a tall tamrac bag to carry two mytek's. i think the mytek is similar size to the mini-me.
not sure the model of the tamrac.. but i still have it and might be willing to get rid of it.

I used the Targus Rakgear backpack when I ran mini-me and AD1000 and it worked great - could easily fit both a mini me and mini-mp in the back laptop area

Kata DR-466 Rucksack (older model) newer one is the DR-466-DL

It has a bigass padded laptop sleeve in the back. The minime/mini-mp should fit perfectly.

That's so simple yet I had not thought to put the mini me in that back shelf. I'll have to try that. Thanks. Already have right angle connectors for the 680 so don't really need access to the sides. :hmmm:
